Biography

My educational history:

  • PhD, Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge (2013)

  • BS, Mathematics, University of Minnesota (2009)

  • BS, Physics, University of Minnesota (2009)

My main research interests are the modeling and numerical simulation of real-world problems using partial differential equations. Applications come from many different fields including Computer Vision, Semiconductors, and Game Theory.

One major application is improved understanding of thin-film semiconductor devices. I am currently working on a Department of Energy project on II-VI semiconductor materials joint with industrial collaborators and an interdisciplinary team at Arizona State University.
