Registration for Fall 2024

Important dates for registration:

  • Enrollment appointments viewable on MySJSU on Tuesday, April 16
  • Advance Registration for continuing students begins Tuesday, April 23
  • Advance Registration ends Sunday, August 18
  • Late Registration begins Wednesday, August 21, (the first day of instruction). Saturday, August 31, a Permission Number is required to add a class.
  • Late Registration ends Tuesday, September 17. This is also the last day to drop a course without a "W" grade

Do you have an advising hold that is getting in the way of registration? Be sure to address that with an advisor in your College Success Center as soon as possible.

Don't forget about Financial Aid!

Student's must complete a FAFSA/California Dream Act application every year they are in college to receive aid. 

October 1 (every year): The FAFSA and California Dream Act applications open. 

March 2 (every year): Priority filing deadline for FAFSA and California Dream Act applications.
