Graduate Programs
The Chemistry Department offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of M.S. or M.A. in Chemistry. The M.S. degree is recommended for those who wish to conduct or direct chemical research, or for those who want an introduction to graduate work before starting a Ph.D. program. The M.A. degree is recommended for persons who are not directly involved in chemical research; it may be sufficient for those individuals teaching at the high school or community college levels.
