Students can access MySJSU for access to the information and/or transactions listed below:

Your Preferences
We recommend that new students set their preferences in MySJSU as soon as possible and that returning students update their preferences whenever necessary.
Your Personal Information
Manage your name, addresses, phones, internet locations and emergency contacts. To do this:
- Sign in to MySJSU
- Click on Campus Community
- Click on Personal Info
Electronic Refunds
Online refunds can be automatically credited to your bank account. To set-up your bank information and receive Electronic Refunds:
- Sign in to MySJSU
- Click on Self Service
- Click on Student Center
- Click on Payment Plans and Account Services
- Click on Refunds
To View Details of Transactions on Your MySJSU Account [pdf]
- Log onto MySJSU which will take you to the Student Center Page
- Scroll down to “Finances”
- From the drop down menu on the left, select “other Financials” and “account activities”
- Under the box labeled “all terms”, select the term you want to see
- Then click “view all” and every transaction will appear
Your FERPA

To set up your Designated Authorized Users:
- Sign in to MySJSU
- Click on Self Service
- Click on Student Center
- Scroll down to Finances
- Click on Payment Plans and Account Services
- Click on Student Account Options
- Click on Authorized Users
Your 1098-T
The Bursar’s Office reports tuition paid by students enrolled at SJSU to the Internal Revenue Service each year. For more detailed information, see Tuition Statement and Tax Credits (1098-T). You can request to receive this statement online or through the mail. To do this:
- Sign in to MySJSU
- Click on Self Service
- Click on Student Center
- Scroll down to Finances
- Click on 1098T Detail Inquiry
